Come! Gather round to hear tales of adventure and derring-do, or rather how we came to be.

My name is Rooaaaarrry! I'm BRINDIAN! Born in the vibrant and vivid land of India, raised in Good Old Blighty; that's Britain for anyone less than 2000 years old. Live and love in breathtakingly, beautiful Canada.
We Punjabis are renowned world over for our big hearts and big flavours. Our home was no exception. That's where I got my craving for curry. My Mum picked everything fresh from our local market and cooked it from scratch. Dal being an absolute staple. Horsepower we called it. Positively packed with protein, full of fiber, vitamins and minerals. Not to mention the fabulously fantastic flavour! It would a crime not to share this gastronomic gift. But what to call this delectable dish? Well, after watching Blackadder Goes Forth it struck me like a hockey puck! General Mellchett had just greeted the magnificently monikered Captain Darling with a hearty "HELLO DARLING!" Well, the cogs really started turning, I can tell you. Lickety split I had gone from hello darling to hello daling to Hello Dal-Ing. Pretty soon I had passed the notoriously strict judges panel at the farmers market and was able to get a highly coveted spot on the Winter Market Opening to a ridiculously rapturous response from our splendidly superb supporters, selling out on our very first day. Ask for Hello Dall-Ing by name at your local grocery store.
